Tonight is Grammy night!!, as all my loyal readers know, music is my life. I’ve written lyrics, and my head is filled with so much music knowledge…

So right now the huge news is that Chris Brown is being sought by the Los Angeles Police Department for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna…IF this is true, it’s a shocker, and very, very sad on so many levels.

I mean he’s supposed to be a role model, and if he’s breaking the most sacred unspoken man rule…there’s something VERY wrong.

U2 kicked off the show with their new song Sexy Boots. It’s good to see them rockin’ for so many years, and not missing a beat. I saw them in 2001, and hope they come around again.

I can’t wait for Coldplay and Jay-Z to perform Lost+ tonight, this is a song that I believe should be up for numerous awards in both the rock and rap category.

Ok it’s now 9:15 and I found out I missed Coldplay and Jay-Z…but thank God for youtube.

Right now the Jonas Brothers are performing with Stevie Wonder, which I believe is a great thing for the music industry, as it bridges the generational gap…DAMN that performance was insane.

Blink 182 are getting back together! Holy Shit! I’ve seen them about 3 times, and each time, they rocked the fuckin house.

I’m so glad Travis Barker and DJ AM survived that plane crash.

9:30 Damn Katy Perry as the Chiquita banana girl…sooo fuckin sexy..but nowhere was the “my Grammy moment” contest winner…odd.

Now the song I cant stand, eventhough it’s catchy… Estelle w/Kanye – American Boy….Wonder if he’ll stay on stage to sing Swagga Like Us with M.I.A., T.I., Jay-Z, And Lil Wayne …ugh there he goes bitching again about not getting the best new artist Grammy…

Aww how cute, Adele…she deserved it with her soulful voice…and she’s kinda cute…plus if the Jonas Brothers won..what kind of message would that say about the RIAA?

Ok her performance of Chasing Pavements with Sugarland has given me a newfound respect for Country music. I’ll admit there are a few artist’s I like here and there, but it’s not my main genre of music to listen to, but that performance was simple amazing.

TI is the fuckin man! He had TWO of his songs performed tonight!

This guy, while he is the recording academy’s president…always gives the worst speeches..and please tell me he didn’t just cop Obama’s “Yes We Can”…just wow.

Neyo, Jaime Foxx, Smokey Robinson and the 1 remaining member of the Four tops performing the Mo-Town classic “I’ll Be There”…this is such an iconic moment in my opinion, and I am truly blessed to be able to witness it.

Mo-town is one of the leading reasons that many of today’s artist’s exist, and not many people under the age of 20 will understand just how much of a moment they just witnessed….BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT!

Neil Diamond’s singing now, and this is a huuuge letdown that he’s basically speaking the words instead of singing…BUT I love the fact the crowd is taking a page out of Fenway Park and singing “So Good” the way Red Sox fans love to.

Ok I’m a bit morbid…I love the In Memoriam part, because it’s always nice to reflect upon how much of an inspiration those who have passed on have had on the music industry.

Lil Wayne is giving one hell of a performance now. Much love the New Orleans and the music it has given us.

Ok They just announced Album of the year..Robert Plant and Allison Krauss…not that good in my opinion, was hoping Coldplay or Lil Wayne would get it..but oh well.

So this is an update about a blog that I wrote about a month or so ago, and a bar I went to.

Tonight I go there to have a drink and catch up with the bartenders who work there that I’ve known for at least 4-5 years.

Well it appears I may have offended someone and if I did offend this person , I am truly sorry. I don’t have a grudge against her, but I was upset with the way she treated me that night. It’s the same as if I went to any other restaurant and the same thing happened. I’d be upset about it.

Now this is a bar I’ve been going to and chatting with the bouncers since I was 18, I know most of the bartenders, and consider a few of them good friends.

But that one night I felt severely mistreated.

I mean I have dealt with stuff like that all my life and now I’m standing up for myself and other little guys (yes I know I’m not little but you get the point) by writing here. I’m the kind of guy who solves things with words, not fists.

Tomorrow though I’m going to talk to a bartender/friend of mine to see if I could get all this stuff straightened out.

Onto LOST…I am so fuckin’ excited about this season, and finally getting more questions answered, than more questions TO answer.

We have a new President, Mr. Barack Obama, and I have a new outlook on life.

Last night, my boss re offered me a department-head position, which I had slipped back to assistant of for a few months, due to a technicality. (Managers in training need to be department heads :/  )  So I took it.

Im starting to watch what I eat more this year, and am starting to exercise more, which is good.

I guess I want this to be my breakout year, when it comes to my lyric writing career, romance, and more facets of my life, and so far it’s off to a great start.

This year is sure to be a memorable one, as in about a month I turn the big 25…wow. Where the hell did the time go?

First off to my readers, Happy New Year…I apologize for the tone of this blog, but it is something I need to get off my chest.

So I just got back from eating dinner at the bar.
You see in high school I was a nerd, bullied every day. Then some kids decided to start lieing about me, making shit up….well my town still hasn’t grown up.

Even the bartenders there have seen some kids who I went to school with trying to start a fight with me, and I just take it, being the better person.

But also this involves teachers too…

In High School I had mono, and there was this teacher they sent over to help me so I wouldn’t miss any school work. This guy is very popular with the students, especially the jocks and female students. If you see him out at the bar, he’s usually the balding 50-60 year old man hitting on his student’s, some of whom aren’t even 21
So anyway when he was tutoring me, he asks me who I had a crush on, and there was one girl at the time (she’s now a good friend) but anyway while he tutored me he kept saying “imagine you’re hugging and kissing her” and other innappropriate stuff, which I immediately knew he shouldn’t have been saying. On a few occasions my parents heard some of the remarks he made.
So anyway this guy comes where I’m eating and starts chatting up the girls who are about 20-22, I turn to him and say “you haven’t changed much since High School” and he says “neither have you”….this guy is a total pompass asshole, who needs to be exhamined. Seriously I am getting sick of this town and the kids I went to high school with, except for the few good one’s who have managed to grow up.

Last night was the finale of TRL, thus marking the end of an era.

I remember coming home from school and watching TRL religiously as I’m sure many of you have.

For me, as someone who has made music his life, this is especially sad.

In the 24 hours preceding the TRL finale the only music videos found on the network were in the replay of the finale and the premiere of Rihanna’s “Rehab” video. This truly is the death of a facet of the music industry. TRL and MTV were the quintessential launching pads for many, many careers in the music and entertainment industry, and to see what MTV has become just sickens me.

Gone are the epic video premiere’s that they hyped for weeks, gone are the interview’s, the classic moments, and possibly the VMA’s…now it’s drivel like “The Hills” that has taken over the airwaves.

I wish I could write more, but I am pressed for time…

My last statement is to any and all music lovers.

Please rally together and save the music industry. We NEED a show like TRL and a network that’s devoted to videos and music, as MTV used to be. We NEED to do something fast. If any musicians/celebs find their way to my blog, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don’t hesitate to contact me. I would be willing to put my savings into any new Music Video outlet, as there is a need for it.

All I can say is holy shit!!!!
My buddies and I entered the bar totally down and out, cuz the sox were getting killed 7-0…and we drank, and drank and drank as they made the most amazing comeback in a postseason game…

So the past two night, I have had the weirdest dreams in a long time, mainly last nights…

I don’t know if it was caused by the scotch last night or what….

In the 1st one, I was in a class, and some girl was throwing paper balls at me…I talked to her after class giving her some item that shut her up, but the teacher wanted to know what happened or something, and I told her that I like another girl, not the one bothering me… afterwords I was swimming, and yet another  girl I used to know a REALLY long time ago (about 6-7 years) just swims up to me and starts telling me that they’ve always had a crush on me and they want me then and there…so um yeah in the water….

Nextly I was in a brand new part of New Haven that was just created, and there was a fenced in area, I think I caught someone doing something, then they tried to knife me….next thing I know I’m carrying a weird Incredible Hulk gravesite playset o_O, I drop it and this kid starts smashing it, a huge crowd appears, and they all want to know who it was that I caught…I’m trying to manuever through the crowd as he keeps following me with the knife. I point as him  and I think he’s caught….next thing a woman starts following me asking me questions, becoming increasingly errantic…finally as I walk near St. Mary’s school in my town, which is near the police station, she takes out a gun or knife and just flips out, then I somehow think that the kid was her son and it was a terrorist attack or something so all of a sudden the kid appears in my hands, I throw him to the ground, curb stomp him, and he’s gone.   The woman hands me an envelope saying “For all the troubles I’ve caused you” and as I open it she laughs maniacally, and just before I wake up I notice, or assume that I noticed white powder in the envelope…Anthrax…

This is one of the most vivid, fucked up dreams I’ve had in a loooong time.

So about a week ago I heard from my ex, which was odd, since we had a major blow up this past May.

What’s good is our ability to forgive each other for the things that were said and everything in the past, and

tonight we actually talked  on IM.

I’ll admit it was a little odd at first.

I mean yes I love her, and miss her a little because she was the first woman I truly connected with, and was truly happy with, and I would do anything for her and her daughter at the drop of a pin…but I guess I have actually moved on.

I’m so happy to hear that she’s at a good place in her life now,and  despite all that has happened,  deep down she is a good person, and deserves to have a good life.

I actually can’t believe I’m going to say this…but I would get back together with her in a heartbeat, just to find out what if…but as long as she’s happy, I’m happy for her and I’m going to keep living my life with or without her.  I guess all that’s happened over the past 6 months has toughened me up a hell of a lot.

Ok I’ve been up almost 48 hours with a total of 5 hours of sleep separating the days…so I’m off the bed.

I’ve changed my mind.

While I’ll admit that I don’t know much about politics, I sure am opinionated…alot of you might see this as a rant…that’s fine…just thought I’d voice my opinion

I would like to announce that I am officially backing Barack Obama in the 2008 Presidential Election.

My reasons being that I believe our country needs a fresh face, not someone who has already ran in previous Presidential Election, John McCain, with his Bullshit…I mean Straight Talk Express…

The American People saw right through his crap then and we see through it now…

Reason #2: McCain want’s to put the already struggling American People in more debt, while helping those who make $227k – over $2.9 million…Obama wants to tax the wealthy more so, which is just how it should be.

Since I’m currently short on time, the last reason is Sarah Palin…

I have read much about her in the personal blogs of Alaskan’s…She is every bit a conniving weasel as our current President Bush… She tosses out the rational and act’s on emotions alone.

Her track record as Alaska Governor isn’t as impressive as her abuse of power as Alaska Governor.

She is also an avid huntress…even naming her sons Track and Trig(ger)…Wow a female Dick Cheney…

Her son Track is currently deployed to Iraq…I can just see it now, if her son (God forbid) get’s killed in battle, will she continue to act on emotion’s alone? If so, will she nuke Iraq to get her “Revenge”?

She also has 3 daughters including 17 year old Bristol who announced she is pregnant..

Mrs. Palin has stated “(Bristol) intends to keep the baby and marry the father of the child”…… Sure….

I can just see Sarah yelling at the poor father of the child “Don’t you dare end this until the election is over”

And back to the 1st link about Eddie Burke giving out the #’s of the women who hosted the Anti-Palin rally…I HAVE EDDIE’s # and if enough people ask, It shall be given out.

Well I haven’t written in awhile, I’ve been very busy at work.

A quick update to all my readers, my left knee has been in pain for some time now, and today it took me 10 minutes to get up, it hurt that much. I have work at 5 tonight, so it gives me plenty of time to get it checked out. Whatever it is, I hope I don’t need to miss work, as I REALLY need money.
